Event Management Plugins for WordPress

Things change rapidly in the WordPress world. The content in this post is more than a year old and may no longer represent best practices.
We’ll talk about why you (or your client) would want an event management plugin and how to figure out which one to use based on your needs. Sometimes you only need a simple list of events or a way to display your Google calendar; other times, you need multi-day events, recurring events, and the ability to sell tickets.
I’ve done a lot of work with Modern Tribe’s The Events Calendar/Events Calendar Pro. Sonja has offered to talk about Events Manager, and Amanda will share her experience with Event Espresso.
